In 1979, Jean moved to South Florida from Montreal, Canada and began his construction career under the direction of his uncles.  Jean learned from the bottom up – from digging ditches to swinging his hammer.  He started JBA Construction in 1989, where he put his framing knowledge to work building homes in South Florida for GFR Construction, Richard Enterprises, and Trinity Construction. Jean joined Trinity Construction in 1993 as a superintendent in charge of all framing operations and soon became project manager.

After 9 years of hard work and dedication as an employee of Trinity Construction, Jean and his wife, Kim, became a team and United Contractors Building Corporation was born in August 2001.

Jean and Kim reside in Deland, FL .  He is blessed with three children as well as three grandchildren.  When not hard at work, Jean loves spending time with his family.

Amy has been with the company since 2002.  She’s a Rhode Island native, but moved to Central Florida in 1994. She resides in DeLand with her husband and two children.  Her positive approach and eagerness to go the extra mile produces excellent results for the company as a whole.  While she enjoys traveling, her love is spending time with family to create lasting memories.

Rodney is Originally from Montana, raised in Great Falls and Missoula. He moved to Sunny Orlando Florida In 1986. He is third generation in construction building industry and started working for his father in the summers in the 1980’s. In Florida, he has been in the building industry for over thirty years in some aspect or another from Assistant Superintendent to Director of Operations. He began working for United in 2015 as a field superintendent and worked his way into Purchasing and Business Development. He resides in Altamonte Springs and enjoys spending time with his family and the out doors, considers himself to be an avid finisher man. He’s a family man that loves his wife, of 24years, and three children.
